FS#784 - Turn text into hatched polylines

Would it be possible to add a feature which turns selected text into solid fill hatched polylines?

That would make it possible to migrate the drawing from one computer system to another without having to worry whether the used font is installed on both systems, like when sending a drawing to a manufacturer for laser engraving.

Right now I can do it by hand, letter by letter, and that is a rather labour-intensive task.

25.10.2022: A task closure has been requested. Reason for request: No need to do it letter by letter. Text can be exploded to closed Polylines and those can be hatched.

Yes indeed, would this be a time saver!

@Andrew - maybe another 'add on' script would do? one that could join 'all' selected exploded text lines, arcs into polylines, ready for hatching?

Select the text(s).
Explode. (configure Explode to explode to polylines)
Draw - Hatch - Fill.
